- CNI config loading fallback now supports the deprecated `.conf` extension.
- Fixed an issue where `protect-cri` might be unnecessarily restarted if containerd was restarted.
- Fixed an issue where OCI temporary files might not be removed in all cases.

There are no known breaking changes in this release from the previous release `v1.8.1`.
